Meeting between H.E Dr. Secretary General and the UNAIDS Cambodia Management On 15th December 2011, Venue: NAA

 

On the 15th December 2011, H.E Dr. Teng Kunthy, Secretary General of the National AIDS Authority met with UNAIDS senior management team leading by Mr. Tony Lisle Country Coordinator of UNAIDS Cambodia to discuss specific activities of national HIV/AIDS response:

• Pathways to Three Zero: UNAIDS indicated strong support to the National AIDS Authority for its initiative to prepare and to set strategic guideline to eliminate new HIV infection to zero and to eradicate discrimination against people living with HIV/AIDS while the National Center  for HIV/AIDS, Dermatology and STI (NCHADS) will lead component strategy “Zero AIDS related death”
• NAA will conduct a consultative meeting on Cambodia commitment responding UN Political Declaration with support from UNAIDS.
