Mission

The National AIDS Authority (NAA) is the sole multi-sectoral government institution with its mission to lead and implement the prevention and control of HIV/AIDS epidemic in Cambodia under responsibility of the Royal Government of Cambodia.

 

Role & responsibility

  • Develop all national policies on HIV/AIDS
  • Develop all national guideline on HIV/AIDS
  • Develop national strategic plan to the prevent and control HIV/AIDS
  • Provide recommendation to government on HIV prevention and control
  • Coordinate the dissemination and implementation of the law to control and prevent HIV/AIDS epidemic
  • Coordinate for sustainable multi-sectoral response
  • Coordinate for resource mobilization
  • Sharing lesson-learn and experience with other countries in the region and in the world
  • Coordinate, collaborate and support the epidemic and impact research
  • Make decision and approve on all HIV/AIDS IEC materials
  • Be responsible for all administrative issues related to HIV/AIDS
